Process: Library Management

Usually, schools have a library fund. But how can we keep track of the variety of books on the shelves? How do we keep a record of the books that have been borrowed? Can we see what books a student is interested in?

In order to effectively manage the school library, it is important to consolidate all information about the books and publications in one place and have the ability to quickly search for specific parameters. Visitors can track the books they have borrowed and their return dates in their personal account. It simplifies the work of librarians and makes the service more user-friendly.

The process scheme includes the following stages:

  1. Adding books to the reference list of publications.
  2. Recording available books in the catalog.
  3. Issuing books to users.
  4. Quickly searching for the required book.
  5. Viewing information about borrowed books in the user's personal account.

The school's book collection may include publications from publishing houses:

  • "Cambridge University Press",
  • "Simon & Schuster UK",
  • "Bloomsbury Plc" and others.

Book descriptions include parameters such as title, author(s), publisher, year of publication, whether it is a textbook or not, subject, class, and the number of copies available.

The library staff has full access to the information about the library fund and can make necessary changes to it.
