The decision-making process in a modern school is heavily reliant on data analysis. Conducting a survey among students and staff can provide valuable insights on how to improve the canteen and determine which clubs to keep or add in the upcoming school year.
The process flowchart includes the following steps:
- Setting a question.
- Designing the survey and filling it with questions.
- Assigning the survey to a given group of users (students, parents, or staff).
- Taking the survey by users in their personal area.
- Analyzing results, obtaining summary data and making decisions based on the results.
The school has access to three types of surveys:
- Data collection - Obtaining data on users' opinions on a given topic.
- Level definition - Setting thresholds and determining the proportion of users who fall in the low/medium/high level.
- Extended analytics - Possibility to extend the previous type of survey and see the development of the measured value over time.
Closed-ended questions such as yes/no, choosing from given options, and multiple choice can be used to gather users' opinions. The entered data can be transformed into pie charts and summary tables to provide a clear representation of the results.
