The school staff is responsible for the safety and well-being of every child in the school. One of the primary issues is whether a student is present in school. If a school has an access control system (ACS), this information can be obtained quickly and accurately. However, not every school has such a system, and even when one is present, it may not be integrated with the markbook, and information about a student's presence in school during class time is important for the teacher.
The process scheme includes the following stages:
- When a student enters the school, a staff member marks their attendance in the service.
- During class time, the teacher sees the names of those students who are present in the school but absent from their lesson in the markbook.
- At any given time, information about how many students are currently in school and who is absent is available.
- When a student leaves the school, a staff member marks their leaving in the service.
- Information about a student's attendance in school is available for any date.
